Our minty blend of spearmint and peppermint is cooling and refreshing. It is interesting to note the difference between these two mints and the most significant is the amount of menthol. Spearmint has around 0.5% as opposed to peppermint which has 40% and this gives it it’s signature numbing flavour and can almost be described as spicy.

Spearmint is sweeter tasting and mellower, however, it is this mint that is typically used in savoury dishes and peppermint in sweet. Combined in this infusion it gives a lovely aroma and a balanced minty taste that tickles the tastebuds. It is a great drink to aid digestion so makes a perfect after-dinner drink. Mint has anti-bacterial and anti-inflammatory benefits.

It can also help with nausea, bloating and clearing the head and nasal passages with its delightful, menthol aroma.
